Mobile Game: Lynx
Lynx was our second project on “The game assembly”. This time we had to make a puzzle type game aimed to be played on mobile phones. Our game was inspired by “Lara Croft GO” which is a turn based puzzle-adventure where a swipe on the phone moves your character one tile in that direction. To give the game some of its own flare we added a season shift mechanic that affected the different objects on each board.

Block Picker
I created a feature were you could pick a block from a “legend“ which then change the set block to the corresponding GameObject tile.
Bear Path Selecting
When placing out one of our enemies “Bear“ we needed to specify which tiles it would walk back and forth on. My solution to this was having a bear editing mode were you first choose the “Bear tile“ and then picked the adjacent tile to increase the amount of tiles in the path.

Walks back and forth on a specified path until winter is called where it stops and becomes an immovable obstacle.
Wolf
Has an aggro range of 2 tiles and when angered moves follows the tiles that the player has visited.
